Website privacy notice

How Everstead Care Group handles the information you share through this website. This notice sits alongside our full Data Protection & GDPR Policy.

Who we are

Everstead Care Group Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our Registered Manager acts as our data protection lead. If a Data Protection Officer is required, their details are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

What we collect through this site

If you use our enquiry form, we collect the details you choose to provide: your name, phone number, email address (optional), the nature of your enquiry, and your message. We ask you not to enter a child's personal details into the form — those are taken securely by phone.

We do not use cookies, advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this website, so no browsing profile is built and no consent banner is required. Fonts and styles are served directly from our own site, so your visit is not shared with third-party font or CDN providers.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to progress a placement or career conversation. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is our legitimate interests (responding to enquiries about our services), and, where you are pursuing a placement, taking steps at your request.

Who we share it with

Enquiry details are handled by our team and our website/form provider (Netlify) acting as our processor. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. Where a placement proceeds, information may later be shared with relevant agencies (for example a placing local authority, health services or the police) strictly on a lawful basis to protect a child's welfare, as set out in our Data Protection & GDPR Policy.

How long we keep it

Website enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and is then deleted. Where an enquiry becomes part of a child's care record, statutory retention periods apply (children's records are retained until the person is 25, or 75 years for certain child-protection records).

How we protect it

The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and enquiry submissions are transmitted securely to our provider and protected at rest. Access is limited to staff who need it.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its use, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us at enquiries@eversteadcaregroup.com or on 07716 390948. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We may update this notice from time to time; the current version always appears on this page.
