FAQs
Questions you might have
Who do we care for?
We care for children and young people aged 7–18, including those with emotional and behavioural difficulties, ADHD, autism spectrum conditions and learning difficulties, in safe and inclusive homes.
What is the PACE model?
PACE — Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy — is a trauma-informed approach developed by Dr Dan Hughes. Our whole team is PACE-trained, helping children who have experienced trauma build trust, security and resilience.
Are you Ofsted-registered?
Yes. Everstead operates fully in line with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards, with monthly independent Regulation 44 visits. Our Statement of Purpose is available on request.
How do I make a referral?
Local authorities can call our placements line or use the enquiry form above. Share the young person's needs and we'll respond the same day with honest advice on whether we can help.
Are your staff trained and vetted?
Every team member is DBS-checked and fully referenced, with training in safeguarding, PACE, PRICE physical intervention, medication and first aid — and ongoing professional development.
